Another update about 20Twenty. Its fate apparently rests upon the whims of a like-minded financial services provider<\/em>, with whom negotiations have progressed well<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Below is the full body of the mail they sent me. There’s an image at the bottom of the mail which may or may not have been a disclaimer against doing this sort of thing, but if you want me to pay attention, allow me to read it (I have images off in my mails by default).<\/p>\n

\nAs promised in our communication of 31 October, here is an update on our services:<\/p>\n

Our Home Loan (SmartMove) business continues to grow, and we are signing up new customers every day. As highlighted in our last communication, this product will underpin our consumer banking strategy going forward.<\/p>\n

Personal Loans (EasyCredit) will remain unchanged and form part of our more focused product offering.<\/p>\n

Regarding our Online Banking services (4-in-One Account\/20one account\/Juice Card), we are pleased to advise that negotiations have progressed well with a reputable and like-minded financial services provider, who we believe will meet your banking requirements. Before we can provide you with further details, we need to follow the necessary steps to obtain final approval from our regulators. This process is expected to be concluded early in 2006.<\/p>\n

We can assure you that your funds are secure and your account will remain fully operational over the festive season. Transactional facilities and access to the Contact Centre and internet are available as always.<\/p>\n
